From proposal to final walkthrough.
Proposal and agreement
We review your plans and scope and provide a written, project-specific proposal. Construction pricing and terms are set in your agreement with ROAM Builders Inc.
Planning and project management
Construction phasing, scheduling, and coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections.
Building
Supervision of the work on site, coordination with your design team and consultants, and regular updates as construction progresses.
Closeout
Final inspections, a walkthrough and punch list with you, and closeout documents for your records.
Payments and paperwork, in writing.
Your written construction agreement sets out the payment schedule and change-order process, subject to applicable California requirements. Changes to scope, price, and the payment schedule are documented in a written change order signed by you and ROAM Builders before the changed work begins.
For home-improvement work, including home rebuilding after a declared disaster, California limits down payments and progress payments. Lien waivers and releases use the applicable statutory forms, with conditional releases tied to payment and unconditional releases confirming payment received. Review the payment terms and release process in your project agreement, along with the CSLB disaster rebuilding guidance and CSLB lien release guidance.
