What we ask of every design and construction trade partner
Design trade partners
- Professional liability insurance (errors and omissions / E&O) of at least $1M per claim and $2M aggregate, covering the professional services you provide and maintained for the post-completion period stated in your agreement; ROAM and the homeowner are not named as Additional Insureds on this policy
- Commercial general liability insurance, with ROAM Design Studio LLC, ROAM Builders Inc., and the project owner/homeowner named as Additional Insureds where applicable and evidence provided by endorsement
Construction trade partners
- General liability insurance (ROAM Builders Inc. as additional insured, primary & non-contributory, waiver of subrogation)
- An active CSLB license and license bond for your trade
Every Preferred Vendor
- Workers' compensation and employer's liability coverage when you have employees (or a written exemption if you have no employees)
- Commercial auto insurance when vehicles are used for the work ($1M combined single limit; Additional Insured where appropriate)
- A completed W-9
